During those many years of ministry I organized, taught, preached and directed countless meetings, bible studies, movies, seminars and weekend events. The Lord sent myself and the youth I trained to high schools to talk and give testimonies to other youth in the classrooms. The biggest event was a Jesus 79 event on Boblo Island in Amherstburg Ontario. Thousands came and many were won to the Lord. Jesus Loves You Ministries and Love of Jesus Ministries worked together to put on this huge event. Over a thousand received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. It cost around twenty thousand dollars and we had many well known Evangelists and Ministries take part from Canada and U.S.A. There was Nicky Cruse and his music band, Gwene and Siggy from Endtime Handmaidens (Arkansas), Larry and Delta Meaux (Winni Texas), Gene Lilly (Florida) and a host of others. The event was completely paid for within 2 months. For several years we roamed the worst sections of our city and handed out tracks. We witnessed to students. bikers, hookers, the homeless and ordinary people. We even were invited out to help others start youth groups in their towns. These were week long events that resulted in hundreds of saved youth and adults. During that week their helpers were trained in and out of the classroom. I trained others for the work of ministry in our church to work in street ministry, ushering, music, children's church, youth church and intercessory prayer. Our music ministry was called out to do Worship and Praise in Churches and events like Full Gospel Business Men and Women Aglow meetings. I organized, supervised, was Pastor and Principal, trained and supervised a voluntary staff of 14 for our A.C.E. Church School for six years. I had a staff of 4 elders. For over twenty five years I supervised, taught, led, preached, evangelized and was a Pastor. I never kept track of how many came to the Lord, but I know there were quite a few. There was normally 5 or more at any given meeting that came to the Lord. There were several large events where we had over 200 come to the Lord. We worked diligently to keep as many as we could in the Lord. I went after the stray sheep, loving them back into life and life more abundantly. My ministry was often misunderstood by others because of this. The highlight and greatest thrill in ministry is to win someone to the Lord or to see changed lives.
