True Life Inspiration

Life without Jesus is a place I have no desire to go back too.  In those dark miserable days I lost myself in the worldly things in life.  In my search for peace and pleasure, I hurt those I loved, used and abused their treasure.  I only found heart ache and pain in my misguided search.

Without Jesus it is like the world and all in it is against you.  You fight for what you want whether you need it or not.  Greed is your only goal.  There is no place for anyone in your life but yourself.  There is no other thing or person more important than yourself.

Shame is all I feel as I look back on those dark days.  I pray for forgiveness for all the wrongs I have done.  I pray for forgiveness from all the people I have hurt.  I will never go back to those pitiful days.

The path that God has for us is the only true and wonderful path to walk.  I thank Jesus for walking by my side.  I thank Him for lifting me up and showing me the joy of a good and giving life.  I thank God for His Mighty Word.  I thank God for His love and for the sacrifice of His Son, who died so that we could be forgiven.

I never really knew what happiness was until I asked Jesus to come into my life.  I have nothing and I am nothing, but I am happy.  Filled with joy.  I have no need for fancy cars or huge houses.  I have no desire to have a large bank account.  What good is to me anyway.  I can't eat it, nor does it feed my family.

A great peace has come into my life and I owe that to my Lord and Saviour.  I know that the Lord will provide all I need.  I am full, with the love of my family, with the food that goes on my table, and with the Love of Jesus and my Father.  What more do I need?

Life is not worth the breath you breath, until you have Jesus in your life.  I serve my Jesus for His Glory.  Never again for my own.
