Mothers Joy

A mother feels joy in her heart,

When she sees her children for the first time.

Their small round face,

Smiling back at her.

The little giggles and gurgles,

As she talks to them.

A mother feels joy in her heart,

When her child utters it's first words.

When her child take's it's first step.

There is nothing more joyous,

Than when they first say,

I love you Mummy,

And, I love you Daddy.

A mother feels joy in her heart,

Her daughter works by her side,

Laughing and smiling.

Both learning together.

When her daughter asks for her advice,

With relationships and life.

There is even joy mixed with concern,

When her daughter goes on her first date.

A mother feels joy in her heart

When she watches father and son.

Working side by side,

Smiling and laughing.

She watches with pride,

As her son and husband seal their bond.

Both learning from one another.

When her son asks for her advice,

With relationships and life.

There is even joy mixed with concern,

When her son goes on his first date.

A mother's joy is her family.

The love of her husband,

Which keeps her alive.

The love they share,

Holding their family as one.

A mother feels joy in her heart,

When her children marry,

And raise a family of their own.

When she sees the love which

Bonded her family through the years,

Repeated in the families of her children.

A mother feels joy in her heart,

When her children come home,

With their children.

Asking for advice

Or needing to feel that

Special love they knew in youth.

Then being told,

Mum, thank you,

For teaching us how to love.

Our children benefit from your lessons to us.

A mother feels joy in her heart,

As the love grows and spreads,

From generation to generation.

That's a Mothers Joy.

The love of her husband and children,

And all the grand children.

Her family.
