Life in Heaven
By Marygold aged 11
She saw a bright light. Brighter than she had ever seen. She was a woman named Lana. Lana was a Christian. She had been in a car crash and was very badly hurt. She had a concussion. Lana was 25 years old. All of a sudden she closed her eyes and breathed her last breath. All her pain was gone and when the light shone upon her she floated up in the air.
She looked down at the ground and saw her husband, mother, father, and brother crowded around her, all crying. Lana wanted to say goodbye to them before she left. She wanted to reach out to them and to hold them in her arms. She knew she could only watch. She was going to see the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings. She was going to see Jesus. She knew she would see her family again. When they died she would see them if they had Christ in their hearts still. She knew that they would go to heaven because they were totally obsessed with Jesus.
As she was looking at her family, she heard a voice. "Come live in my light of peace and happiness, where everything is glorious and safe. Nothing can harm you now my child." She knew it was Jesus. She looked back up at the light and was then walking towards it. As she walked up, her hospital clothes turned to white, soft, shining garments and made her look like a princess. Then, as she stopped to look at her clothes, a golden hallo was placed at the top of her head. She started walking again with a brood smile on her face.
She passed the light and before she knew it she was at the doorway to heaven. She walked up to the gates and they opened. Lana felt so happy! She heard the most beautiful music she had ever heard and she started to dance. She was laughing and giggling when others started to join the fun. She was soon crowded with a big welcoming. She said hello to all the people and started to walk towards the Kings palace.
She entered the palace and saw him. The creator of all things! She saw Jesus. "Welcome to heaven my child." Jesus said to her and touched her face. His hands felt as if they were made of sheep wool, so soft and gentle against her cheek. She touched his hands and looked at his palm. She saw the holes from his crucifixion. "Thank you." Lana said. Jesus knew what she meant. She said thank you for dying for our sins.
