How squished my deck of cards must be

Packed up in a row.

They tell me when I take them out

That they want to move too and fro.

I wish I could make a better home

For every one of them.

But I don't know how to make one.....

Maybe I should make their home

With my handy kind of hem.

I worked and worked and made a box

Where they could have some fun.

And make some room where they are not

Jam packed in every single one.

After a day I took them out

And asked them how they liked it.

They said it was too cold

And they didn't have the best blanket.

I made beds the size of cards,

Made a beautiful house for them.

They said they liked it than I put them to bed

And put away my toy Em.

I patted the cards on the chin.

And the next day I put it in a contest

And did I win?

YES!
