ForgivenessPart 2
In our last bible study we talked about Bullies and turning the other cheek. Now we go on to more things we have to forgive people for. Bullies are not the only people
that hurt us either. There are many ways we get hurt. Also many ways we can hurt someone.
We can say something, that isn't nice, or isn't true. Or it could be true, but is
something you should really keep to yourself and not say. Ask Mommy or Daddy to give you
some examples of things you might have done, or said that may have hurt someone in some
way. Also talk to them about how you feel when someone says nasty things to you, or does
nasty things to you. But please do not be upset by your hurting others. We all do it from
time to time. It is something we learn not to do as we grow up and gain wisdom and
knowledge. Jesus gives us wisdom and knowledge through the bible and the Holy Spirit. We
also get wisdom and knowledge by learning from what we do wrong and what others do wrong. |

Luke 17:3-4 I am warning you! "Rebuke your brother if he sins, and forgive him if he is sorry. Even if he wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, forgive him." |

Ephesians 4:31-32 Stop being mean, bad-tempered and angry. Quarrelling, harsh words, and dislike of others should have no place in your lives. Instead, be kind to each other, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you because you belong to Christ. |
