Storm Heavens Gate

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth (suffers) violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:11 & 12

For many years I read this in my readings of the Bible and always  wondered about this verse and just what Jesus meant when He spoke this.

Let us look at the key words here in the Greek Translation

Suffereth - Biazo (bee-ad-zo) to force - i.e. (reflexively) to crowd oneself (into) or (passively) to be seized
:- press, suffer violence.

Violence - this word is the same as Suffereth

Violent - Biastes (bee-as-tace) - A forcer - i.e. (figuratively) energetic: - violent

Force - Harpazo (har-pad-zo) - to seize (used in various applications): - catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force).

This statement is good news for all of us if we can just grasp it spiritually, mentally and physically. What Jesus said is this (my thoughts) -

Whether Jesus was using John the Baptist to point to another person in the old testament is not the focus point here. What is the important fact is that even the least in the kingdom has this power to storm the gates of heaven and take it. Not only the best can reach and touch God through prayer but anyone who is His.

Knowing this we are without excuse. Go my friend and Storm The Gates Of Heaven. It is possible and it only depends on how much you want it. Think on these words (kingdom of heaven suffereth (suffers) violence, and the violent take it by force).
